CPTFT(Center for Plasma & Thin Film Technologies) was initiated by Dean Hsieh, College of Environmental and Resources, MCUT and his team members to President J.H. Liu and was approved and supported by Director of the Board, Dr. T.I. Yang. CPTFT was opened and started to operate on Dec. 23 2010. The objectives of CPTFT are to promote the development and application of thin film technologies and develop the corporation relationships among industries, government, academia and research units. The tasks of CPTFT include the academic research, technical training, patent development, techniques transformation and educational training.
